Hope Amid Pandemic
Future will never be seen without today's youth for grown ups will never be ripened without knowing how to be young and clueless. Yesterday's men will someday depend their future to the children of tomorrow thus prioritizing youth's progress and acknowledging their needs must be a goal for a better community. Because a community without a drive to offer helping hands and a desire to reach the unreachable cannot be entirely called a home for people.
Search for a word that is synonymous to hope and it will give you "children" as the result. Helping them to hone their young minds and letting them lead their own way will be the first step to achieve what they are destined to do. Regardless of color, race, or state of life, our youth has the power to pave a clear path to not just a progressive community but a better nation as well.
In an early age, what gives them their worth is what their grown ups teach them. Showing them the beauty they possess and helping them to use it in a greater cause will eventually create a clearer picture of a brighter tomorrow. As long as someone believes in them, values what they are, and allows them to learn even in the toughest situation they may be in, children will continue to be our hope as what the cliche sayings always tell.
Most children always want to learn. Most children seek answers to complicated questions. Most children wish to acquire clear understanding. However not every child has the opportunity to do so. Sometimes, what they want is what also seems to be impossible but that will never be the case in a world where help is free, a world which asks nothing in return.
Indeed, life is an ocean with various kinds of ship and boat. While some children are struggling in their crashed boats, crying for rescue while they are drowning, let those privileged ones who are barely sweating in their ships be the answered prayers to those less fortunate. Offer your free hand to those who are already handful of hardships because what you give is what you also get.

PAGPASIDUNGOG: An Appreciation To The Graduates!
Project Duag launches its new initiative dubbed as “PAGPASIDUNGOG: House-to-House Awarding of Medals and Giving of Hygiene Kits to the Awardees of Batch 2019-2020”
This is our little way to appreciate the hardwork and perserverance of our graduates because they deserve a recognition amidst pandemic.
The beneficiaries received medals, hygiene kits and sweet delicacy (Margarita’s Polvoron).

The Road Less Traveled: An Outreach To Indigenous People Community
In the town of Dumarao, Capiz lies two Ati communities, our indigenous people brethren in Mt. Tag-ao, Brgy. Tamulalod and one community can be found in Brgy. Aglalana, Dumarao, Capiz.
This kind of community has the same needs and problems as those who do not belong in any IP communities. Sometimes, our brethren who belong in this tribe have been neglected by the government, sad but that’s the reality. The most pressing problems we have identified are the access to education of children since classes were suspended in March and set to open on October 5, the learning stops because of COVID-19 pandemic and learners were deprived of education they deserve. Next, in these trying times, health is very important for everyone. It is tear-jerking to see most of the children and even adults of the Ati communities lack of nutrition. This awful scenario gives us a realization that we should do something for them, our fellow countrymen.
Our team has this strong desire to reach out this community because it really melts our heart seeing them in that kind of situation.

EDU-AKSYON: Project Duag's Flagship Project Tries To Answer The Problem In Education During This Global Pandemic

Today, is considered milestone in our team for bringing our flagship project, “Edu-Aksyon” to one of the Ati communities (INDIGENOUS PEOPLE) here in Dumarao, Capiz.
A total of 42 student-beneficiaries have been given the opportunity to become our recipients for this project.

Mental Health Matters: Project Duag Provides Psychosocial Support To The Ati Communities
PAG- AMLIG version 2.0

Our brethren from the Ati communities in Dumarao, Capiz opened our eyes from the reality that they really need our help particularly in terms of education. In 2 days of immersing ourselves in their community, it is a tear-jerking moment to see children and parents appreciating the initiatives we have prepared for them especially our flagship project. Our heart melts witnessing their smiles on their faces.
“PAG-AMLIG version 2.0” (first round) had 42 student-beneficiaries in which kids of Ati community received psychosocial support, modules, school supplies and hygiene kits in exchange with their points. 22 parents participated in the psychosocial activities, and information drive. They also received hygiene kits and neoprene face masks.

Initiative Of Project Duag Dubbed As "PAG-AMLIG" Extends Help To Barrio Schools

This initiative has been our bridge to feeder schools for helping them through donations. From the 1st round of the Pag-Amlig, we've already 10 schools that became our recipients.

Apart from the initiative "TAWID GUTOM PROJECT", we were able to provide free slippers to the kids and adults of the Ati community. We successfully launched "FREE TSINELAS FOR EBRI-JUAN" because of your support in our "T-SHIRT FOR A CAUSE PROJECT". Some amount of the proceeds were used to procure slippers.

This pandemic crisis takes away everything from us that seem very essential, furthermore changing everyone's perspectives about education. Education is among top priority for everyone, hence must be given focus and emphasis. Truly, education can change our lives, uplift one's status and improves our well-being.
As for the flagship project of Project Duag "EDU-AKSYON", it might not be the real solution to country's problem in education, for us it is one thing that could create additional learnings to students, and motivate them to pursuit education at any cost.
As the COVID-19 continues to grip the country, Project Duag will extend educational opportunities to far-flung communities.

Medical Mission for Ati communities succesfully launched by the Project Duag
FREE MEDICINES FOR EBRI-JUAN||
It cannot be said that even today indigenous people have been given the opportunity to regain control of their health and lifestyle (Sargent et al.).
In partnership with Provincial Government through Capiz Kabalaka Hospital Management System, apart from the flagship project "Edu-Aksyon", our team distributed free medicines, clothes and toys to our brethren in the Ati communities.

The burden of hypertension in the indigenous population, with multiple shortages of of resources and healthcare accessibilty (Oliviera et al.).
Through the effort of Ms. Diane Algecera Celino, our team conducted free BP check up to indigenous adults.
Project Duag feeds the kids of the Ati communities
TAWID GUTOM PROJECT|
Indigenous people experienced severe malnutrition which is often closely associated with socioeconomic and sanitary conditions
To alleviate the said problem, Project Duag gives life to its new initiative the "TAWID GUTOM PROJECT" for Ati communities. The team able to prepare snacks and distributed relief packs to our beneficiaries.
